We ate at Zorba's at the market across the street for breakfast every day but one
that we stayed.
The one day we didn't, we wished we had. It's cheap and cheerful and Shaun
will do his best to keep you happy.
....Zorbas is a good bet for inexpensive and tasty Bahamian (and Greek) diner
type-a-grub.

Cally's also has some breakfast specials
but isn't as good or popular as Zorbas.
There are plenty of lunch options as well

would suggest Zorbas in the Port Lucaya market place for an inexpensive
breakfast . As you wander around the area you will see that all the restuarants
post their menus

Zorbas was a wonderful Greek restaurant in the Lucaya Square. Try it!

Zorbas. The sandwiches were very good; they were traditional Greek food like
Gyros.

The resort is huge and there are a lot of things to do. There are many restaurants
and bars on the property and across the street there is a marketplace/marina with
more shops, restaurants and bars. The prices at the marketplace are more
affordable. We had dinner at The Pub at Our Lucaya which offered native dishes
such as conch, grouper and mahi mahi. For breakfast we ate at Zorba's. We heard
that Luciano's and Pieces were also very good, but did not have time to try them
out.

From journal The Grand Bahamas
The food we had was excellent. I had fish (snapper, I think) and it was delicious. I
wanted to eat there again, but since we only had 8 days, I wanted to experience
other dining as well. The dress was casual and the waitress was very
accomodating.

The casino, shopping, and evening entertainment await you there. Count Basie
Square is a must if you enjoy music and dancing. This is where the vacationers
and locals meet for fun, food and people watching. Zorba's was our favorite
restaurant.

Description:
Two weeks relaxing in Freeport was just the answer to a long Canadian winter. It
was our first trip to Grand Bahama Island, so we went with both anticipation and
some apprehension. While there were a few ups and downs, the experience
overall was great, and we would return.

The other restaurants we ate at were in the Marketplace across the street. Caily's
for breakfast was ok - but Zorbas was much better. We also passed Zorbas during
dinner and everything looked wonderful. We had to go inside and order some
Baklava to take back to our room. It was quite tasty.

wonderful
Zorba's Restaurant which I had reviewed from the internet.
What a great, family run, restaurant.
Every meal was delicious, from your
wonderful omelettes, to your bahamian and greek cuisine.
We loved every home cooked meal because that is something we always
look for on vacation.
Your baklava and galaktobourio deserts were to die for!
Everyone we met at the restaurant had the same to say and they came
back for more regardless of all the other restaurants around in port
lucaya.
I would like to thank you for everything and the great company.
You are a wonderful family and made our stay very enjoyable
Keep up the super delicious, family run, and warm atmosphere restaurant
and keep in touch.

You guys are the greatest.
I recommend this family run restaurant to anyone travelling to
Freeport.
The food is delicious and very affortable.
The breakfast omelettes were my favorite and the mixed and varieties to
eat for lunch were great.
The desert was my favorite.
The baklava was to die for and the
greek coffee was the best.
We found everything we needed and it seems all the other people in the
restaurant felt the same way.
They were back for more than one meals.
To Nick and all the wonderful people we met at Zorbas in Freeport,
Thanks for such a warm welcome and wonderful meals.
Give Nitsa a big hug and kiss from
